Meet Councilwoman Jean Wilcox
Featured

26 July 2017

Councilwoman Jean Wilcox is ready for a promotion.

After nearly four years of serving the City of Prescott on the City Council, Wilcox is now running for Mayor.

“I’d really like to be Mayor of Prescott,” Wilcox said. “I think this is a turning point in Prescott’s history, we’re finally getting out of that recession thing, and that mode of thinking that ‘we can’t do that’."

As a strong supporter of Prop 443, Wilcox thinks that it is imperative for 443 to pass for City services to continue at the level they’re currently at. If it doesn’t pass, Wilcox admits, “We may have to cut back on some of those city services that we all like. I don’t want to do that, but if it comes to that, we’ll have to do it.”

Watch the video below as Wilcox talks about her vision for the City, and the contributions she hopes to make as Mayor.
