Crews Are Restriping the Roadway Between 8am to 6pm Tuesday & Wednesday

Drivers traveling on State Route 69 in Prescott Valley this week should allow extra travel time for striping work. Lane striping is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, through Wednesday, March 8, from State Route 169 to Mendecino Drive in Prescott Valley.

During work hours, drivers can expect a moving operation for lane restrictions as crews restripe a six-mile segment of newly repaved roadway.

The final layer of rubberized asphalt will be completed when warmer temperatures return this spring.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions and closures, but it’s possible that unscheduled impacts might occur because of weather or other factors. For the most current information about highway conditions statewide, visit ADOT’s Traveler Information site at www.az511.gov, follow ADOT on Twitter (@ArizonaDOT) or call 511, except while driving.
