Pachyderm Club Hosts Zack Taylor, Former Chair, National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers

The Yavapai County Pachyderm Club has announced that Zack Taylor, former Chairman of the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers, is scheduled to speak at their monthly meeting, this Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Prescott County Club. The meeting will take place at the Homeowner’s Association meeting place,  1133 Old Chisolm Trail,  in Dewey, Arizona.  The meeting is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and reservations are requested.  RSVP’s may be addressed to suepachy@gmail.com.

Zack Taylor is a 26-year veteran of the United States Border Patrol. The last 14 years of his career were spent  supervising intelligence operations at the Nogales field office. He is a national expert on gathering and analysis of “real time intelligence”  on the smuggling of drugs and other contraband and on human trafficking. He has been interviewed on Newsmax . Mr. Taylor has testified as an expert witness at Congressional hearings and before investigative committees. As a retired Border Patrol Officer he continues to lecture on border security issues and “asymmetrical warfare” through the organized infiltration of the US border by drug cartels and foreign  governments. From 2006 to 2022, Mr. Taylor served as Chairman, of the Former Border Patrol Officers National Association.

The Pachyderm Club was founded in 2007 by conservative firebrands Don Goldwater, former State Senator Thayer Vershoor, and longtime Republican activist Phil Mason, as a platform for conservative voices within the Arizona GOP.  For many years, the Yavapai County chapter was led by Sue Goodchild, and held ‘standing room only’ monthly meetings at the Bonfire Restaurant in Chino Valley. After a fire at the restaurant and COVID closures in 2020,  Pachyderm meetings were suspended. However, earlier this year the Pachyderm Club, again under Ms. Goodchild’s auspices, has been revived in Dewey, Arizona, and will hold a full schedule of candidate events leading up to the 2024 election.

Recent guests have included Sheriff Mark Lamb, the only announced Republican candidate for the US Senate,  former state treasurer and current Arizona GOP Chairman, Jeff DeWitt, and Arizona’s Republican National committeewomen, Lori Klein-Corbin. Congressman Eli Crane (R-CD2) is scheduled to speak at their September meeting.

Members of the public wishing to meet Zack Taylor are cordially invited to attend the July Pachyderm meeting this Saturday,  July 29th,  1 pm at the Prescott Country Club HOA,  1133 Old Chisolm Trail, Dewey, Arizona.  The event is free.  Light refreshments will be served.  RSVP’s may be addressed to suepachy@gmail.com.
