City Seeks New Board and Commission Applications for the Pedestrian, Bicycle and Traffic Advisory Committee and the Planning and Zoning Commission

PRESCOTT, AZ (November 16, 2017) – The Council Appointment Committee is now accepting applications for citizens who are interested in serving on the Pedestrian, Bicycle and Traffic Advisory Committee and the Planning and Zoning Commission. The city is currently seeking applications for the following boards and commissions:

Advisory groups, boards, commissions and committees provide opportunities for citizens to take an active role in their local government. Members are appointed by the Mayor and/or City Council. If there are more applicants than seats, the City Council Appointment Committee will review applications and sometimes conduct interviews with candidates in order to make recommendations to the full council for appointment.

Applications are due to the city by November 30, 2017.
