Three Authors to Discuss Self-Published Books At Prescott Valley Public Library

Three authors who have self-published several books each will talk about their experiences with publishing their books at PWP's regular monthly meeting. Susan Lanning, accompanied by Jerri Lincoln and Greg Picard will discuss why they went the self-publishing route, how they went about it, what problems they encountered, and how they solved them. Three different perspectives on the same problems leading to various solutions.

Susan Lanning is the author of several self-published books, including Granite Justice and Ghost Tree, the first two books in her Belle Evans mystery series. While Jerri Lincoln has several non-fiction books on yoga to her credit, she is also the author of two children's books, The Unicorn Whisperer and Cooper's Smile and two coloring books Do Bears Poop in the Woods? and The Little Unicorn Who Could. Greg Picard is a former high school and college teacher turned law enforcement ranger with the California Department of Parks and Recreation. He has coauthored with his daughter Wendy Gorham, the Becker mystery series including the titles Old Bones and Keepers of the Sandbox.

The meeting, sponsored by the Professional Writers of Prescott, will be on Wednesday, October 25th from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM in the Crystal Room (3rd floor) at the Prescott Valley Public Library. As always, PWP's monthly meetings are open to the public.
