There are many dogs and cats in Arizona looking for their forever home. Phoenix Animal Care Coalition 911 (PACC911) brings together many animal welfare organizations throughout Arizona, uniting them and offering opportunities to work together for the greater benefit of the animals.
Some are purebreds, like Bo (pictured), who is up for adoption because he was not good around horses but will make a great family companion. He is sweet and friendly with all people and dogs and loves car rides! He is currently with PACC911 coalition partner Aussie & Friends.
Rescue groups in the coalition are aided in four distinct ways: adoption events, fund-raising, education and medical assistance. The emergency medical aid has become a particular focus over the years and evolved into a vital community resource to offset veterinary costs incurred from rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned, lost and neglected pets.
PACC911 has also established a food bank helping low income families to keep their pets in the home, by providing the needed pet food. PACC911 has sparked a new spirit of cooperation amongst the partnering humane community now working in harmony as PACC911 members.
