Provide input for the Prescott Airport Master Plan

Prescott, Arizona, March 6, 2017 – The City of Prescott will hold a Regional Open House Meeting at the Centennial Center, at 1989 Clubhouse Drive, on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The City of Prescott is seeking feedback from the public during its process of developing an Airport Master Plan for future development of the Prescott Municipal Airport.

Over the course of the project, the City of Prescott will develop a plan that will ensure the City and Airport have a realistic, flexible, and sustainable program to meet the aviation needs of the region over the 20-year planning period. The Prescott Municipal Airport Master Plan will also consider changes in the industry as the last master plan was completed in 2010. The City of Prescott will work with the other state and regional government organizations, the community, and airport stakeholders and users throughout the planning process. The Airport Master Plan will provide: a graphic representation of the future development of the airport; a schedule for development; justification for the plan; and an implementation plan that satisfies local, state, and federal regulations.

The first Regional Open House Meeting will cover the first three chapters of the Airport Master Plan, which are: Introduction, Existing Conditions, and Forecasts of Aviation Demand. Members of the Planning team will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

The City of Prescott is committed to keeping the region and community informed and welcomes public input. Four Regional Open House Meetings will be held throughout the duration of the planning process. Please see above for the date of the first session. Other session dates are to be determined.
