Arizona Oncology practices in northern Arizona will donate $1,000 to four local food banks as a gesture of holiday good will.
The Northern Arizona Food Bank in Flagstaff, the Yavapai Food Bank in Prescott Valley, Verde Valley Senior Center's Meals on Wheels in Cottonwood and the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank in Sedona and will each receive $1,000.
The food bank programs in Cottonwood, Prescott Valley and Sedona will receive a check on Dec. 19. The food bank in Flagstaff will receive a check on Dec. 18.
"We wanted to give back to the communities we serve this holiday," said Michelle Morrill, Arizona Oncology office supervisor in Flagstaff. "There are people, right here at home, who are in need."
