In case it's been a long time since you've been to a rodeo, (or maybe you've never been to a rodeo at all!) you can expect to see a show that features lovely rodeo Queens, lots of lassos, top athletes willing to go one on one with irritable bulls and broncs, clowns that provide both humor and protection for the cowboys and a few specialty acts that will wow the crowd. And, don't forget the ladies barrel racing! In addition to the rodeo, the 121st Annual Prescott Frontier Days will include the big parade on Saturday, July 5th in downtown Prescott. This year's theme of the parade is, 'Our American Heritage'. And There's Much More...But, besides the rodeo and parade, there's much more for you to do on your 4th of July staycation - Rodeo Dance - starts at 8 pm and continues through 1 am. July 3-5, Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the M&I Bank parking lot. Nick Nicholson will be performing, and it promises to be a fun time for all. Kiwanis Kiddie Parade - This happens Friday, July 4th at 8:30 am at the downtown Courthouse Plaza.
Rodeo Queen Coronation - Might as well stay in those grandstands to watch the Rodeo Queen Coronation at 11 am on July 4th. Admission is free. More InfoRodeo Performances are Monday through Saturday at 7:30 pm. Friday and Saturday also have additional performances at 1:30 pm. Come early and check out the vendors and the mechanical bull! And last year they had stick horse races for the kiddies - maybe they'll do that again, too!
Tickets: $12 - $22 (kids 12 and under receive a $2 discount)

Talk about the perfect Staycation Destination - can you believe that the
Cowboy Church - Friday, July 4th, at 9:30 am, you are invited to a non-denominational church service in the grandstands at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds.
