Meagan and "Paco" (F.A. Chierici, the film producer) were on hand at the Sedona International Film Festival.
Speed and Angels is a movie that will be inspirational for many people. The story of two young people who both shared the dream of being Navy fighter pilots. Jay, (callsign Faceshot) has loved flying all his life and has always wanted to fly airplanes. Meagan, (callsign Slick), decided she wanted to be a fighter pilot after seeing the movie Top Gun at age 12 with her father. This movie mainly focuses on the ups and downs of Meagan's story. Meagan was the last woman to be trained and to fly F-14 Tomcats. (Meagan has since gone on to fly the F-19 Superhornet, since the Tomcat was decommisioned.) The movie shows tears and hardships, happiness and excitement and much, much more. This is a really great movie and it rates seven stars and 4 thumbs up! I would recommend it to anyone. Editor's Note: This review was written by Katherine Hammer, a 12-year-old 6th grade student at Prescott Mile High Middle School . Her father, Ron Hammer, also wrote a review of this movie, Real Life Top Guns Hit the Screen in "Speed and Angels". A movie trailer is at this link for viewing.
