About Us

Here at Prescott eNews, we think there's a lot going on in the Prescott quad-city area. And, yes, we know that bad news happens, but we also know that a lot more good news happens. So, we intend to tell lots of good news, while not ignoring the bad news.

Although there are some online news sites for the Prescott area, there aren't many that seem to take advantage of the medium of the internet. Here at Prescott eNews, we know the difference between putting a book or a newspaper online, and using the Internet to its full potential. And we think it's time that a quality news website makes its home in Prescott, Arizona.

How Old Are You?

Ssshhhh...! Don't tell anyone, but we launched our beta site in June, 2007. So, yeah, we're the new kid on the block. Well, at least for this particular site. But, our staff has been designing websites for nearly 10 years, and are also accomplished Photoshop digital artists, writers, photographers and design instructors. What all that means is that just because this particular site is new, it doesn't mean that we don't know what we're doing.

Please use the contact form to send all comments and suggestions. We look forward to hearing from you.

National Bank of Arizona Employees form a League of Super Heroes as they come together to help children. Called upon by Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters to “Release their Heroes Within,” these bank employees are doing everything possible to raise pledges to help our community’s children through YBBBS’ Bowl For Kids’ Sake fund raising event.

The Bowl for Kids' Sake event, which culminates over the next 2 weeks, is the largest fundraiser held by Big Brothers Big Sisters. National Bank is the signature sponsor of the event.

David Seigler, the Vice President of Community Relations and and Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yavapai County, explains, "Most banks, or businesses for that matter, won’t allow their employees to solicit their customers... I like to think that a business that stands with the community and helps those in need, becomes more deeply ingrained in a community’s culture, which promotes increased business in the short and long term.  What National Bank is doing is a great example to others during these difficult economic times."

Pledges to YBBBS can be made at any National Bank branch, or online at azbigs.org.  Last year, this local event raised enough money to provide 268 kids with Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and Big Families.  Mentoring is the single most effective way to positively impact at risk youth.
