For Immediate Release: Prescott, AZ: Want all the fun and excitement of Branson, Missouri's famed musical extravaganzas? Prescott's own Arizona Revue That’s Entertainment! returns to the historic Elks Opera House starting May 25th for another run of topflight, uproarious fun that's sure to wow audiences of all ages. Musical Director Clyde Score, himself among Arizona’s music luminaries for decades, isn’t shy about drawing the comparison to the Midwest’s mecca for live musical variety shows. “I feel honored to be directing such a tremendously talented group of seasoned performers,” he says. “We bring Branson-caliber entertainment to our audiences with just one thing missing - the humidity!” The Arizona Revue’s cast members have appeared with some of the music industry’s biggest names over the course of their careers, and on an impressive roster of globe-spanning venues from Hawaii to Switzerland. Stateside appearances have included Miami’s famed Fontainebleau, the Playboy Club in Los Angeles, and the prestigious Monterey Blues Festival -to name but a few. In season number three, the polished troupe of musicians, singers, dancers and tall-tale spinners will offer up a fresh take on its wildly popular music variety show, including a moving tribute to our nation’s soldiers - both past and present - and "more than a few surprises," Score adds. Score reports that the‘Revue has broadened its musical repertoire this year, featuring selections from the 40s and 50s all the way through the 80s. Also new this year will be a medley of what Score calls “movie memories” - popular songs from famous films. Joining the Arizona Revue’s veteran cast members - Steve Annabale, Janna Bradshaw, April Manchester, Melissa Ruffner, Score, A.J. Siniaho and Courtney Wagner - are three new faces. Seth Gibson is an up-and-coming young guitarist who’s already won the respect of many of the top players in the Prescott-area music scene; vocalist/bassist/drummer Larry Healey and his band, “Little Larry and the Drive,” regularly rock the best clubs in town; and Larry Lee’s flawless touch on both keyboards and bass is a powerful force in his popular local band, “Karma”. Audiences will also enjoy new dance numbers and comedy sketches, as well as special guest appearances throughout the season. The Arizona Revue's run of 19 performances will include Friday and Saturday nights - and a few Sunday matinees - through September 8th. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Advance tickets for the season opener, as well as for December’s holiday shows, are on sale now.
