The audience will be in for a treat as the performing troupe, Entertainment Events will travel from New York to present their comedy play, Late Night Catechism. The play will begin at approximately 7:00 pm, and is an interactive performance with the stage being set up as a classroom, and the audience getting to be the pupils. Director of Stewardship and Development, Yvonne Bartlett says there will be a silent auction and a live auction with items ranging from antique jewelry, flight simulator time and a bar-b-que. Bartlett says that the funds raised from the event go to a variety of different projects each year. One year they were able to pair with the E. L. Wiegand Foundation for a grant, which resulted in new science lab and playground equipment. Bartlett says that each year they look around and the “funds go where they are needed the most.” Tickets for the event are $125, and there will be dancing after the play with live DJ Paul Hurt from Prescott DJ Services. Tickets can be purchased on-line.
