The goals of The Arizona Photographers Workshop (AZPW) are to promote the art and technology of photography through education at the community level. We offer technical assistance, either personally or by forum and hope to allow members an opportunity to display their works in competitions or programs by scheduling programs that will improve the photographic skills of our members. We value the worth and dignity of each individual, acknowledging that artistic expression is an extension of that individual and is, by nature, both unique and intensely personal.
We provide a forum for photographers of every age and skill level to develop an appreciation for the art of photography. Our belief is that photography, like all the arts, is an on going education that can never be truly mastered. To constantly learn and grow as an artist, one needs a nurturing atmosphere and constructive critique of their work. The Arizona Photographers Workshop will provide just such an environment. We are looking for anyone who is interested in photography to participate, either as a student or as an advisor.
AZPW was incorporated in Arizona in December of 2007 and has been approved as a tax-exempt Public Charity under the Internal Revenue Service code 501(c)(3).
